Planning a Manhattan shoot
The practical side.
Locations
Offices, venues, studios, or streets: we scout or review each location with you and confirm what is needed to film there.
Schedules
City days are planned tight: load-in, setup, interview blocks, and the light you want, with buffer for the building and the traffic.
Access and permissions
Building access, elevator time, and any filming permissions are confirmed during planning, not on the day.
Audio
Clean sound in busy rooms and on busy streets takes planning. The crew that records it is the crew that mixes it.
Deliverables
Formats, lengths, aspect ratios, captions, and delivery dates are set in the proposal.
Aerial
Aerial work in the city is subject to airspace rules and permissions; where it is possible, it is planned early.

Do you have a Manhattan office?
No. We are based in the Hudson Valley and travel to Manhattan and New York City for productions. Travel is included in the proposal.
How much notice do you need?
Two to four weeks for most shoots. Events and brand films with multiple locations need longer for planning and permissions.
Can you also handle photography and live sound on the same day?
Yes. One crew covers photography, video, and live audio, which keeps the day simpler for you.
